Over the past 20 years, local non-profit Elder Care Services has depended on the growth of their annual fundraiser, Oktoberfest, to meet the growing needs of seniors in Leon County. At the recent 20th annual Oktoberfest, the biggest and best yet, Elder Care welcomed over 750 individuals to an evening of celebration and support for seniors.
Through sponsorships, tickets and auction item sales, the 20th Annual Oktoberfest produced over $115,000 in gross revenue to help ECS improve the quality of life for seniors and their caregivers in the Big Bend! The money raised by this wonderful community includes a large group of loyal sponsors who believe in Elder Care Servicesâ mission to insure that our seniors will be well cared for.
