CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for Clarksville-Montgomery County and the surrounding area through Tuesday at noon.

In addition to the rain, wind gusts as high as 35 miles-per-hour may also contribute falling trees in areas of saturated ground. Flooding is possible on area roads, low lying areas, creeks and streams. Area rivers are expected to start rising again and crest around midweek.

Temperatures throughout the week will remain in the high 50s to 60s throughout the week. Rain will end briefly on Wednesday with sunny skies but more rain is expected Thursday.
