Hospice launches ‘Planned Giving’

ASHEBORO — In honor of this year’s 35th anniversary for Hospice of Randolph County, a new “Planned Giving” program has been developed and launched.

Many people choose to leave donations to a charity or nonprofit in their will because they like to support causes that have been important in their life.

Tax savings are one benefit, but more than that, you can help support the future of causes that are close to your heart.

Consider “Planned Giving” for Hospice of Randolph County to continue a lifetime of support for a nonprofit you believe in.

Founded in 1983 by a small group of concerned citizens who wanted Randolph County citizens to be able to receive hospice care wherever they called home.

Our local home-town and home-county hospice was born serving over 22,000 people and families over these years with compassion, dignity and respect.

There are various ways of planned giving through bequest of a personal will, charitable trust and life insurance or retirement plans naming Hospice of Randolph County as the beneficiary.

Some choose annual giving as a way of support now by becoming part of the new “Legacy of Hope Society” in which your gift will leave a legacy of hope and love to benefit generations to come.

There are also still naming opportunities available for various rooms and venues at the Randolph Hospice House, our county’s only specialized hospice inpatient facility.

It is advised for you to consult your personal tax advisor on which benefits that best fit your planning needs and the staff at Hospice of Randolph County will be glad to work with you to ensure that your wishes may be fulfilled.
